Download Supplier's Declaration
Since July 1st, 2004 HARTING offers a Supplier’s Declaration together with the relevant material lists, as download files for the issuance of movement certificates such as the EUR1 to prove preferential origin for the following HARTING companies:
HARTING Electric GmbH & Co.KG, DE-Espelkamp
HARTING Electronics GmbH & Co.KG, DE-Espelkamp

Remarks:
The Supplier’s Declaration is only valid with the respective material lists of the above mentioned HARTING company and a commercial invoice.
The abuse of the above mentioned declaration by the user to obtain preferential origin for a product could lead to following consequences:
- Fiscal: The incorrect origin in a Supplier’s Declaration could lead to the revoke of an issued movement certificate such as the EUR1 and that the goods have to be submitted to the customs authorities of the Import Country for the payment of duties.
- Penal: A criminal offence or infringement of tax laws (Abgabenordnung in Germany) is considered possible and can lead to prosecution.
- Civil Law: According to Civil Law of most countries the declaration of preferred origin is considered as a guaranteed characteristic of a product (in Germany see BGB §§ 463, 480 II). A customer can claim damages caused by incorrect statement of origin.
Consequently it is necessary when preparing declarations for preferential origin to take great care that only those origins are certified which have been verified and can be clearly documented.
Due some changes in law, the supplier's declarations may only be available upon direct customer request. We kindly ask for your understanding.
